How do you get someone to buy from you when you sell door to door?

My husband and I sell curb address paintings. We know that our product is much better than our competitor by a long shot. He sells the same, but his are stencils with a ton of over spray. We use an advanced masking technique which allows ours to be clean and precise. We have fliers that we usually just hang on people's door k***s because we know that people hate door to door people. What else can we do? There are a ton of neighborhoods that haven't even been touched yet, and alot of money to be made! Does anyone out there have any tips? This other guy's work stinks compared to ours - we have pictures to prove it! Really now, people need this! Anything from anyone, please!

  1. One thing you can do it ask some of your past customers to put a sign on their yard above your work. Many people will let you do that if you give them a discount. There is no better way to advertise, the work speaks for itself.

Another method would be to offer free work with a certain number of referrals. For example, if one customer brings you 10 new customers, you do their work for free.

Marketing is not free and not easy.

  2. Hi there, I have a home business that would be an excellent advertising tool for you...I can't post it in here, but it involves using the photos you have to promote your curb paintings.

It would also be another stream of income for you while doing what you love!

Let me know if you would like a walk-through and I can show you how it's done...I think you'll see the benefits right away!

    Have an awesome day!
