How do you get sticker residue off of a plastic folder?

Soak it in rubbing alcohol.  Then scrub with a cotton ball, or washcloth.

Try Nail polish remover.

Get a little bottle of Goof Off.  That's the only one that works for me.

Anything oily from the kitchen.

It will remove the adhesive , any paper & its free

Try applying Baby Oil or Mineral oil with a Q-tip.  Let it sit for a few minutes or more and wipe it off with a cloth.

There is a product called Goo Gone that works great. It is an oil that won't hurt the surface you use it on. It is also fairly cheap. You must be careful using products like fingernail polish remover as it can damage some surfaces. Good luck!
