Question:

How do you get sticky stuff off of photographs?

(it's only on the corners, but I still want to get it off-and I'm not sure of where it came from, but maybe it's like soda or juice maybe?)

Depending on the age of the photograph, you should be able to soak it in water.  Water won't damage the photo if you're careful; photos are rinsed with water after they are developed.  If your water is hard, you should use filtered or distilled water.  Soak the photo for a couple of hours then carefully move it around in the water (or swish the water around) to remove the sticky stuff.  DO NOT rub the photo as the emulsion will be soft from the soaking and may come off.  Chemicals like Goo Gone may cause the emulsion to come off.  If the photo is old or appears to be in delicate shape, your best bet is to leave it alone.

  3. Try taking a soft damp cloth anything else could ruin the picture.
