  1. Lift weights and drink milk.

  2. I am also 13. Middle School Volleyball Rocks. I am definatly not the strongest server, so I'll just say what I do to work on it. If you go underhand, lean into it, don't toss it and give it some UMPH! Overhand, I cant say, not there yet. Try some arm exercizes, like, push ups, or seeing how long you can stand on your hands(leaning on wall permitted lol), weight lifting, and tecnique. The better your tecnique, the better your serve. Good Luck!

  3. Work your upper body out with weights. Specifically your chest and triceps.

  4. you can really increase the power in serving the ball by learning where the sweetspot is on your hand. I usually practice by standing off a wall about 10 feet spiking the ball of the ground into the wall and let it come back over my head to spike it down again. If you concentrate you can get the feel for where the power is in your hand. I found a good way to "center the ball" to my hand is to totally curl just the top joints of my fingers an hitting the ball with the edge of my top finger joints and the bottom palm of my hand. Keep in mind that when you open you hand and form it to the ball you get more top spin and can serve the ball harder. My best serve though is to make my hand flat and serve the ball with absolutely no spin. It by far is the toughest to dig. Good luck

  5. When I was improving my serve a lot last year I served against a wall a whole bunch. Push ups. Exercises that work your biceps and shoulders.

  6. lift weights, countinue practicing..... thats pretty much it

  7. u have to learn wear to hit the ball if there is a name on the ball have the name facing you use your rest and line it up with the name pull back then check it again then hit it it will take a little time but it work if you do it right

  8. Well, when I was in middle school I served underhand until the 8th grade. Now in high school, I've seen probably every serve there is. But, as I help out at my old middle school, I try to give everyone tips on serving. If you can serve, you will win. In my opinion, the most successful serves are just the ones that aren't fancy, but to deep. If you can stand behind the line and throw the ball over the net, then you can serve overhand. To get a stronger serve, you need to get stronger. Push-ups are probably your best bet, since you are still young you don't really want to go into weightlifting yet. Do like 5-10 push-ups between commercials or 10 push-ups every hour, everyday. That should give you plenty of upper body strength. Next, make sure your toss is high enough to hit, that can create a top spin and give you a much better serve. Remember to keep a stiff arm while serving, having it only slightly bent.
