  1. I have done this before - I tried everything, and the easiest thing I found (although a bit painful at times) was just to sit and pick it off. You can scrub all you like with anything you like, nothing works very well!

    Good luck!

    P.S - I've never used superglue since!

  2. Get a cup of really really hot water and put your fingers in it, and rub them together, it's really the only way. It should be as hot as you can stand it. I've also found that clipping it off with fingernail clippers is good too, if you don't mind getting cut a little bit.

  3. Household products such as nail polish remover contain the chemical acetone. If you place a small amount of nail polish remover on a cotton swab, you can apply it directly to your skin to dissolve the bond. This process doesn’t damage the skin however it can discolor fabrics and damage laminated counter tops. Straight acetone can also burn your skin so use with caution.

If Super Glue happens to stick together body parts where acetone can’t be applied (such as lips or eyes) then follow this advice.

For skin bonded together with Super Glue soak the affected areas in warm soapy water. After a few minutes peel or roll the skin apart. After this remove the cured Super Glue with warm soapy water. This may take several applications.

  4. alcohol or maybe yyou can wash your hand with a soap!!

  5. i use acetone solution but you can try nail polish remover. pour a little into a bowl and soak your fingersfor about 5 minutes then wipe with a tissue.

  6. Acetone will take it off--it's available at hardware stores.  Old-fashioned nail polish remover also has it.

  7. I used a little nail polish remover to remove it.

  8. It just wears off

  9. haha... your probly gonna have to ride it out, it will be gone in a day or two... maybe try white sprit

  10. lol. i was just about to ask the same question, cause i just got it all over my fingers too trying to fix something. but as i was typing it in this one came up under similar asked questions. everyone is saying nail polish remover with acetone, but i tried it already and it didnt work (maybe i just bought a crappy brand, idk?) and i tried baby oil and a tooth brush too and that didnt work, so now im gonna try the hot water thing suggested above.

Edit: the hot water thing kinda worked. it got some off and made the rest soft enough to scrape it off with a pairing knife at an angle. ug, im gonna start wearing gloves when i use super glue... i never fail at getting it on my fingers!
