I'm learning how to play a song on the guitar(acoustic) but there's this part where it makes a kind of click sound. I don't see a difference in the strum just in the sound, how do i get that?

  1. Its called muting a string ( or strings.) With your fret hand press down on the strings hard enough to muffle them, but not hard enough to be fretted. Use all 4 fingers for best results. Hope that helps!

  2. I don't know what your talking about unless it is the player hitting the pick or his fingers on the pickguard... What song is it, that would help a lot.

  3. Hello Piri

The click sound that you hear is the hand that muffles the strumming after you strum the chords. It makes a click sound on account of the pick hitting the muffled string.
