How do you get that "butt" smell out of cushions and car seats?

I f**t a lot. I am a guy so I do f**t a ton. Well, yesterday I had to give a client a ride in my car and it was super hot. So as soon as I opened the door, there was a strong butt smell and it was embarrassing. When we were driving, I couldn't put the windows down because it was too hot so we drove 15 minutes in a A/C car that smelled strongly.

Then on the way back, our client rode with another coworker instead.

Then I got paranoid so I smelled my chair at work. Butt. My couch at home. Butt. My pillow. Butt. The videogame beanbag. REALLY bad butt.

How can I clean these things? They can't fit in the washing machine so how do I save myself from further embarrassment?

  1. Steam cleaner.

    Fabreeze.

    Seat covers.

  2. spray febreeze & shower everyday! like ew.... & if you're gonna f**t lift your butt up a bit so it doesn't go directly into the seats..

  3. I suggest you detox and lay off whatever you consume that is giving you such a gaseous problem.

As for your furniture and car, it will "air out" if you lay off the gas.  In the short term you can try some febreze in the offending area, but I think the solution is to resolve the larger issue ~ your flatulence ~ or your immediate environment is always going to smell like your brand o' butt!

  4. Fabreeze

  5. Rent a steam cleaner (rug doctor) which includes an upholstery tool. Febreeze may be the cheapest answer though.

  6. I use a spray bottle filled with half vinegar and half water, then, use it as you would febreeze. Vinegar is a great odor eliminator, it doesn't mask it like febreeze does. It will not smell like vinegar once it dissipates. Also, to make things smell "fresh" you can hide fabric softener sheets in inconspicuous areas of your home, car and office (underneath couch cushions, in the glove box, tape one underneath your chair at work) you get the idea. Good luck with your flatulence and thanks, I needed a good laugh today :)

  7. Stop farting into the furniture. Lift your ***. I have to share a chair with six other people and one guy who worked before me farted into the chair a lot. It makes the next person sick because it smells like a t**d. I used to put a towel or blanket over the seat. We vacuumed the seat and put febreeze on the chair after his shift. Air fresheners under the seat might work for now until the smell goes away.

  8. Have you ever heard about a "Butt" Plug..

  9. MY FIANCE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM!! LMAO And yes, he showers daily. The steam cleaning mentioned was good, febreze is ok, but the best stuff is Renuzit (Automotive Febreze essentially) It smells the best even in the Texas heat. I think I got it at Wal-Mart in Automotive, but you can probably get some at Autozone, O'Reilly's etc.

Definitely wash all the items you can with either Clorox 2 or if you CAREFULLY follow the directions on the bottle, bleach in your wash water with detergent is the best.
