How do you get the air out of a beach ball?

I have tried pushing it out, but first taking the plug switch thing out.

Put in the pin to fill it up with air & then push on it the air will come out

there ususally is a rubber flap that is used to keep the air in so either pinch it the right way or take a pencil or pin to push the flap down
