I have already downloaded a movie (the Mummy Returns) from Limewire onto my Itunes. When I went to get it onto my Ipod nano it wouldn't work! Is it even possible? if so then please walk me through it.

  1. (Control + Z) when plugging your ipod will read it as just another drive.   You can drag and drop then, the ipod is running on Apple's proprietary software and may not be able to read the file's extension directly on the ipod.  However, you can use it as a transfer device (like a standard usb drive).  I prefer to go to command line and work like that.  Ipod's have a hidden folder with files usually labeled F0 -F49 (depending on the device and firmware).  These files contain your music, movies, etc.....  and can be extracted on another computer (without itunes).

  2. Heres what u do. u must buy PSP media suite so u can convert the movie so it can go onto the ipod. i know its for psp's but it works

The link below is a picture of the cover of The PSP media suite. hope i have helped.

  3. File that you downloaded is probably a .avi file, iPods will not play these and therefore they must be converted to a compatible format such as mp4. To do this you should download Videora and convert the movie.

  4. You should make sure the video is MP4 or H2.64 video for iPod. Here is a step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod
