  1. Get a webcam program.


  2. Check in Control Panel, System, Imaging Devices to see if the driver for the webcam is loaded.

    This will be a TWAIN driver which means you can use almost any imaging software with it.

    Read your laptop manual carefully. There is probably some webcam program included with your Acer, either loaded already, on a utilities CD or in a folder on the hard disk.

    Others have fixed their Acer webcam problem by downloading a new driver from the website.
