  1. If you pick up an old tube you've opened before and the caulk won't come out anymore, put the tube in your gun and then get about 3/16" bit and put it in your drill - then push on the trigger of your caulk gun a little and run that bit into the dried caulk in your gun - that usually will get the caulk working again.

Clean the bit good with a paper towel.

  2. Cut the tip off the tube and insert a sharp/pointy wire down the tube to break the seal. Then squese the handel (watch out for the caulk to come out).

  3. if its an old tube and there was "blow by" and theres dried caulk behind the plunger..take a razor knife to it..remember to "cut AWAY" from your hands..gl

  4. As in getting the old tube out to put a new one in?

There's a thumb latch dealy towards the back that you have to release, then you can pull back the part that pushes into the tube and remove it.

  5. squeeze the trigger turn metal rod in back to your left. "lefty lucy, righty tighty" that is the code for s***w nuts bolts and caulking guns and more things related to hardware tools. don't forget to pull the metal rod in back of caulking gun outwards while squeezing and turning lefty loosy. sounds silly but even doors open lefty loosy.
