How do you get the msn WMP message to work?

I play songs on WMP but they don't appear in my msn message. I've clicked the option to display them is msn but it appears that it's not working even still. What do I do to make it work?

Open Windows Media Player

Click the Tools menu, then Options, then Plug-in tab

Look under the Background category and verify that the MSN Music Plugin is checked.
