How do you get the parental control off?

Question

I forgot the pass code to get out of parental control. I can't watch a movie with R ratings. The DVD player is a GE model number : GE1106P-C

If anyone can help, please do. I have tried to unplug and replug later....no good....go down the line in number 0000....1111....2222etc...no good. Don't know what to try anymore.

Ask your children they can figure technical stuff out faster than the adults can, they can also get the child proof tabs off your medicine bottles.

Is there a number you could call ?  I had a problem  with mine and couldn't figure it out but my son figured it out  :) so much for parental control.......

I don't use a password on mine, but on mine It uses the number 199703 then it shows the display, Then just hit enter and it asks for a new password. I have a Sony. Look for your owners manual.

I tried looking for a site also, no luck there. Someone else asked the same question. Is there info in the book? or is that part of the problem you don't have the instructions any more? Do you know where you bought it? if so they might have a similar DVD player with the same booklet? Good luck!
