  1. blot with as many paper towels as you can, use vinegar followed by lysol, place heavy weight on spot between changing paper towel, steam clean extremely well.

  2. Listerine:  Just saturate the spot and let it dry;  the odor will come up with it

  3. Try sprinkling bicardonate of soda on when its dry.leave it for 20 mins then vaccum off.Dont wet it.The more you try to wash away the smell, the worse it will get.Good luck

  4. I have a cat and ran into this problem before. Here is the steps I took to get rid of the smell. First mix 1 part oxyclean to 2 parts water, pour onto the stain and then blot up as much as possible with an old towel. 2) Mix 1 part vinegar to 1 part water and again blot up as much as possible. 3) Once the spot is nearly dry pour baking soda over the stain and allow to dry without rubbing it in! Once dry and vacuum. It's a lot of work but I found it to be the most effective and good luck :-)

be sure to flush it out with water very well and repeat if necessary.  this always works great for us

  6. DO NOT USE CLORINE BLEACH!!  Not sure why some people don't remember high school chemistry - but if you mix bleach and ammonia (primary chemical in cat urine) - you end up with what they used in WW1 - Mustard Gas!  DO NOT DO IT!

With that said - I've had really great success with this stuff:     http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...

You have to REALLY SOAK the carpet because you need this to go deep into the carpet pad.  There are directions on the side of the bottle and you can get it at several places - I just used the link from Petsmart because that's where I got it.

    It works!

  7. Mix a couple drops of dish soap with peroxide (check for color in hidden area) rub that in with rag.  When it dries sprinkle baking soda and let it sit about an hour vacuum.  If it stinks then, just repeat.  I only had to do this once, but I just googled pet odor remover and they took me to wonderful site with many solutions.  This one was the easiest.

  8. nothing will get it completely out, rip out the carpet.

  9. Urine off will work great for both urine and f***s. Urine Off is the only consumer product that works very well. Natures miracle and many others do not contain enough enzymes/bacteria. The consumer product is the same blend of enzyme/bacteria as a Professional would buy.

We have treated hundreds of homes with very high success using this product. http://www.urineoff.com

THEY HAVE GREAT INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR SITE FOR SUCCESSFUL REMOVAL

  10. White vinegar will neutralize the odor..

  11. You should use this product its fantastic and comes with a money back guarantee.

  12. bleach is supposed to be the only thing to help against cat pee.

  13. i try everything before and end up removing the piece of carpet and padding.

  14. The only thing to shift it is non bio washing powder. It also stops the cat peeing in that spot again. They always go back to the same spot as it's their own smell but this will help shift it properly. It really works.x
