I have heard it is very hard to get tickets to the Derby, and would like to go next year. Is it something where you have to just buy far in advance or does it totally sell out? Thanks

  1. You can purchase Grand Stand seats. Packages start at over $1599 a person. I believe Quint sales has the official packages

  2. You can look online for overpriced tickets or you can go to the Derby without a ticket and go to the infield for around 40.00. You can write Churchill Downs after this years Derby and before Labor Day and request tickets.This puts you on a waiting list.You have to write every year until they have an opening and you have to be consistant.These seats are not fancy and the viewing isn't great,but they are seats and you can be there for the excitement and fun. If you would like the address to write for tickets,send me a message through my profile on here. Good luck and have fun!!

  3. Admission Information

    Kentucky Derby General Admission - $40.00

    Kentucky Oaks General Admission - $25.00

    General Admission on Oaks and Derby days allows access to the paddock area and infield only. There are no seats available with General Admission on Oaks and Derby days, it is Standing Room Only, and the view of the racetrack is limited.

    GOOD LUCK;

  4. start right now for three years out...
