How do you get to Capri after Naples and what is there to do?

You have to take the ferry boat to get Capri.

Capri is a fantastic island, it's full of shops and luxury hotels and the obvious thing to do is SHOPPING!

catch the hydroplane ferry.  very easy from naples or sorrento....

capri is overrated w/ the same shops in any city but fab views....try ishia island......

While you're there, you can visit the Blue Grotto which is an interesting experience. In Capri, you can shop, visit the perfume factory, see the garden of Augustus - there are great views of the Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Sit in a cafe in the Piazetta and enjoy the day. Walk the nature trail. Take the bus up to Anacapri and see the Munthe villa, take the chair lift to the top of the island, sample the limoncello, see Villa Jovis (roman ruins).
