  1. Once your at a tube station, there will be maps saying that it's on the Victoria Line or something like that. It'll be easy enough. If you cant see it ask one of the workers, they're very helpful even though they don't look it. They know the Tube like the back of their hands.

  2. get the northern line , northbound, and get off at Tottenham court road.

You'll be at the very start of Oxford street.

If you need to be in the middle of it, then instead of the northern line, get the bakerloo line northbound and get off at Oxford circus

  3. have a look at the tube map

the two tube lines at Charing Cross are Northern Line and Bakerloo ... you can either get the Northern to Tottenham Court Road station which is right at the beginning of Oxford Street ... or the Bakerloo to Oxford Circus station which is half way along Oxford Street

although it's not all that far ... you could walk it in under half an hour if you wanted

  4. get on the Bakerloo line, it is a few stops from there, otherwise, you could walk through Trafalgar square, to Piccadilly Circus, up Regent Street and you are at Oxford Circus 15 - 20 minute walk
