How do you get to kanto in pokemon firered?

this game is old but I dont understand!?!?! some one help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanto is the region you are in. You cannot get to the other regions. There are the sevii islands. You can only get to the first few islands after defeating the 7th gym and the rest after you beat the elite four and champ. You get to them using a boat docked where the S.S. Anne was when bill gives you a ticket after beating the 7th gym.

Don't you start in Kanto?, it is a remake of the original Pokemon Red, so you should already have access to them, it's Gold/Silver that's set in Johto, Ruby/Sapphire in Hoenn and Diamond/Pearl's in Sinnoh.

That's strange if you can't find any, I did play this game a few years ago, so I can't remember much about it, but if you collect all the main pokemon in the area and fill the pokedex, you get a new one from Proffesor Oak called the National DEX.  

I think if you get to the Sevii Islands you can find them there too, but you can only get there after badge 7 and you get a choice to go to islands 1-3 before going to the viridiam gym, so try that.

You start in Kanto, if you mean how to get to the other islands then this is what you must do:

1. Firstly you must Defeat Blaine as the gym leader and someone called Celio will offer you a pass, accept it.

2. Catch 60 pokemon and talk to professor Oak then go to vermilion city and travel to 1 island from the place where the ss anne was

3. Talk to celio in a huge  building (you cant miss it) and he'll ask you to get a ruby, go on your map and look for mount ember, go there and find the ruby (its not hard to find inside) and take it back to Celio :)

4: He will ask you to find a sapphire, this is tricky, go to island 6 (you can get there when you give the ruby to Celio) and look on the map for a place called the dotted hole, find it, face it and press A, you will then have the sapphire. then go back to him and he will get the Machine which means you can transfer pokemon from certain games to this one and he will give you a rainbow pass which allows you to go to all 7 islands
