How do you get to play on a Country's national football/soccer team?

I just want to know the details in how you can work up to playing on a national football/soccer team, or even just a club, i.e. Vancouver Whitecaps, or LA Galaxy, etc.

All the steps, starting with, well, the first lol

Well, that is very very hard.

First, practice every single day for about 3 hours (this will be no problem if you have really desire of becoming a soccer player)

Run a lot, practice drills, shoot against the wall stuff like that.

Join a soccer club. Any will do, make sure is not that good or else your potencial won't be showed that much because of the also other good players (also because they are very expensive)

After you show that you are the best in the league, you will get called for better clubs.

Oh, make sure you join you're school soccer team every year too.

When scout is in town make sure to do your best, if scout likes you good job, you'll probably play for a pro soccer club (depends what scout it is) When you play in pro soccer club and you show that you are one of the best players in the league, you will get called to play in you nacional team.
