  1. You have to be invited by the US Olympic Comittee..

you have to be part of a team or something, and your coach has to suggest you to the US's O.C (and you have to be like BEYOND amazing for your coach to do that), and then the O.C. decides on who they want to participate in the olympic trials, and the people who do best in the trials make the olympic team...

  2. If you belong to an proffessional training team.. Your coach will sign up for you...  Who knows you could be the next micheal phelps. My neighbor was a 3 bronze medals in the olympics for polevaulting!!!!!!!

Anyways if your not pro then dont even think about it the olympics are serious and they dont want rookies contacting them... OOOo and the next olympics is in london so yeah... Wait for the one in chicago in 2016 since its local XD

  3. First there is no way Chicago will win 2016. They are last on the final list right now.

As for the question. You have to be invited by USA Swimming. In order for that to happen in a country with as much talent as the USA, you would probably have to be a really good swimmer. You should try for a National Championships on a non-Olympic year first, there is no way you can just show up in 2012 and expect to make it.

If you don't know, you probably are not going to make it.

  4. AnsewerMyQuestion... why are you telling someone to wait for your local olympics in Chicago in 2016????.... how presumptive of you... you are surely aware that the 2016 olympics have not yet been awarded to any country and may well go to Brazil, Japan or Spain...

Dylan do you swim competitively at all?... if so those people should be able to tell you the correct approach provided you are good enough...

  5. kidnap michael phelps swimming coach..
