How do you get to the boss in jabu jabu on the legend of zelda: the ocarina of time?

after the princess runs off on you after you put her on the platform she runs off somewhere how do you get to the boss in the giant fish thing

One of my all-time favorite games! You need to go to Jabu Jabu's belly. He's in the Zora's Domain. It's pretty complicated, try using this walkthroug: http://www.angelfire.com/ab/zeldabase/wa... it will tell you how to get there, and what to do once there and inside.

you need to use the boomerang to cut the things that are connect to the celing and use the sword to hit him.

If you have just defeated the mini boss after throwing Princess Zora on the platform, this is what you do:

After defeating the "miniboss," ride up to the next floor and defeat the jellyfish, now enter the next room.  The first thing you want to do is jump down into the water, but stay away from those crazy seizure platforms.  Defeat  the Octorok using either your Boomerang or by deflecting its attacks with the  Deku Shield.  Climb back up and throw your Boomerang at the two platforms to calm them down and jump across.  Jump across to the second platform in the next room and it will descend down a floor.  You are once again in a familiar room.  Grab one of the two boxes on the side here and them come back over. You'll notice a button on the floor here, jump on it while carrying a box and then put the box down on the button to hold it down.  Proceed into the next room.  Eliminate all the jellyfish enemies here and then find the Skulltula crawling around on the wall here and kill it with your Boomerang.  Climb the wall to get GOLD SKULLTULA [027].  Keep climbing toward the top and you will

see one of those things on the roof that opens the doors.  The problem is that there is a  glass panel in your way that means you can hit it straight on with the Fairy Slingshot, you have to use the Boomerang.  The problem is that even when you're using the Boomerang correctly, it still misses a lot of the time. Stand all the way back and target with L/Z and throw.  It should go around the

glass but there's no guarantee it will hit the button.  If you're really

having trouble try walking right up to the glass and to the left side without falling off the edge, being closer will help your accuracy.  When the button is hit and the door is open, head through the north door to the boss.
