How do you get to the olympics??

For like gymnastics or swimming!!

How do the people that go to the olympics get there?

From what I understand, they train from the time they are first able to swim. Getting up at four in the morning to train before school then back to the pool after school. The best are chosen (in Australia) and sent to the Australian Institute of Sport to be coached. Then all contenders swim heats to see who is the best in Australia in all events. They are chosen to represent Australia.

A lot of sacrifice and dedication from the swimmers and their families is needed to get there.

Depends upon where you're coming from.  Most people probably fly and get there via airplanes, but if you live in the country, or if you're close enough, you could probably drive and get there via a land vehicle.
