How do you get to the radio for removal in a 2008 Ford Escape?

I need to get to the back of it to add an adapter.

They are beautiful arent they? You need to pull on the surround.  They are pegged in with spring clips and pulling them out will remove that ginormous radio/hvac control thing

check and see if there are for small holes in the front of the radio

if you do cut a metal coat hanger make two u shapes push them in and tug on the radio pops right out
