  1. There are ferries between Picton and Wellington, or aeroplanes.

    The ferries cost about $40 NZ / Adult, and will take a car / motorcycle or bicycle (at extra cost)  There are two companies: InterIslander and Bluebridge, running several sailngs / day - trip takes 3-4 hours.


  2. These ferry services can be purchased in conjunction with the train and/or coach services as well. If you're planning on using these modes of transportation, you can save money by purchasing it all at once.
