  1. U should use all of your resources sometimes you might need a car pool, van pool, the bus or even your own car. It mostly depends the situation.

  2. Drive. 55 miles one way in an Escape that gets 26mpg.

Don't really complain, I know there's not really any other way around it other than buying a smaller car.

  3. I chose to buy a condo less than 2 bikeable miles to our light rail. Twice a week I ride to the station, rest of the time I drive to BART station.

I can't recall the last time I drove to work .... oh yeah, 3 months back.

I'm remodeling and getting ready to sell. Any of you CA super-commuters who bought out in the valley thinking that was a deal and now want to move back in ....

  4. I ride my 2002 Ninja 250. I get about 60mpg give or take 10. My wife only drives about 2 miles to work so sometimes she just rides her bicycle:D

  5. buy gas...and drive...no change..no car pools,,no buses,,no trains.. no bike no walking  .15 miles over a 2 lane mountain road filled with log trucks..

  6. Try living in the UK, we really have a problem with fuel prices and they seem to be going up on a daily basis, the average cost now is £1.20p per litre, you Yanks have got it made.!!

  7. Depends if i drive my motorcyle or turck. Normally my truck. A quad cab 2007 chevy silverado. 13mpg in the city. I drive probably 20 miles. All by myself.

  8. I drive my car.  Its 34 miles each way.  Thanks Honda for putting a plant in the middle of nowhere so you could get cheap land.

  9. Still drive myself.  ~8 miles one way with a 35mpg car.  I do a bike/bus combo about once a week, and am trying to do it more often.  It doesn't really save me much money, but it's nice getting a good ride in.

  10. I still drive myself. It's a 20 minute drive each way. I'd take the bus if it was available. Gas prices are killing me!

  11. motorcycle usually, or i just buy gas...

premium is a deal now that gas is $4 a gallon

  12. I drive myself 40 miles each way.

I get 37mpg in my Honda Fit so it's not that bad.

  13. Drive myself. 100 miles round trip. 25 mpg in my (paid for) Impala. Working 4 9's during the summer, so hard to car pool w/ anyone. When I'm back on 5 8's again, will probably car pool a day or two w/ DH.
