How do you get trophies on PS3?

only a few games have trophies now. but when Home comes out, the majority should. i think only 1 game has them and thats uncharted drakes fortune.

It all depends on the game itself, every game has different ways of getting trophies.  Your best option is to keep an eye on the trophy sites that are now popping up.  I've been using a few myself:

If you end up having or getting these games. Go to your trophy collection. And it will have a list of all of the games that have trophies. Access any game on the list and it will give you a list of trophies you can collect for that game. It will tell you how to get the trophies on the list. Right now it should say 'There are no trophies' but when you get a game that supports trophies it will show up

When you get a trophy, a message will appear at the top right of your screen telling you which trophy you got.

I'm not sure but i do believe trophies are a planned release, that will be released along with "home"

Most games haven't incorporated them yet as its a relatively new feature to the PS3.  A site like IGN has a sticky in their forums on what games have it and what don't.

It's a really new option... but to get Ps3 trophies you have to do certain tasks in certain games that participate in the Ps3 trophy system.  Beating levels on harder difficulties, beating a level, or receiving awards for the game (Ex: Battlefield Bad Company has those trophies when you kill someone six times or whatever)... just an example of completing a task but Battlefield Bad Company doesn't participate in the trophy system.  Try SuperStardust HD if you really want to get trophies right now.  Otherwise wait for Home or other games that participate.
