How do you get up a hill on a Ripstick?

i just got a ripstick and it is almost impossible to get up a hill.

i have one and live on a hill. u just have to push a lot harder. it helps if you keep the front boards steady then swing then back around in an s shape. get used to riding on flat ground then try hills.
