  2. I just got contacts last thursday. It was actually much easyer than I thought. The biggest thing that was hard for me was keeping my fingers clean long enough to get them in.

That might sound stupid, but oh well.

  3. Hi!

Well, To begin contact lenses are comfortable for the way that has the eye ... At first, you are going to annoy a little lighter, but then are compliant ...

  4. I totally relate to you! Well, for the first week or so, you might want to put the lens on the bottom white part of your eye until you get used to placing something in your eye. That's what I do while I still am adjusting, and my friend started that way too.

    Just...

Make sure your hands are clean

    Clean your lens very well.

Make sure they are not inside out.

You might want to put some drops in your eye so your eye will be nice and moist.(or a Multi Purpose Solution [Renu is

    awesome!])

Put the lens near your eye, and look up.

Place the lens on the bottom white part showing.

You might get a wrinkle in the lens  but it'll go away by blinking.

Shut your eyes for a sec until your comfortable.

Then open them and blink several times!

Hope I helped. Getting started with lens is hard at first, but I'm in the same boat. :]]

  5. Everyone is a little different. Some people can't get used to it and just go back to their glasses. Most people, like me, have to hold their eye open with one hand and use the other to take them in and out.

The doctor's staff should do a thorough fitting and teach you how to do it when you get them.
