How do you get videos onto ipods?

I have some videos on my computer that I want to put on my ipod but when I go to put it on it says something about the ipod not supporting this kind of video. Do I need a converter and if so which one would you recommend

    I had this problem for ages when I first got my ipod video.

    You need to download a converter.

    I use one called "videora ipod converter"

    Its pretty easy to find just run a search in google or just go to http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/i...

    here is a quote from their site.

    "can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD's, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the iPod".

    Then open the new converted video in itunes and drop it into your ipod just like you can with an audio track.

  5. You should make sure the format of your videos be compatible with your iPod( MPEG4).

    I think you just need some other program to help you, eg:
