How do you get washable kitchen wallpaper of, it seems to be in 3 layers plastic,plastic & paper?

you cant soak it because it is washable, you cant steam it because the plastic melts. dry scrape the top layers, if you get a small bit,try pealing it off. then soak withmild soapy water.

from a decorator with 24 years in the trade.

The best way is to get an electric sander and sand off the top layer. HOWEVER, make sure you wear a dustproof mask, eye protection, gloves and open ALL the windows.

Then soak the paper and it will almost fall off.

Soak it and/or steam it then a lot of scraping.

The wetter the paper is the easier it will come off.
