How do you get water base paint out of a cotton shirt?

I just had to do this for one of my daughter's shirts. I first sprayed it with Zout stain remover and let it set for about three hours or so then washed it in a normal load of clothes. It took two treatments but it did come out.

If the paint is water-based, it should probably come out if you rinse and wash it like normal.  You may have to rinse several times, so do it by hand so you can see if it's come out.

wash it if it is water based then it should come out in the wash.
