How do you get wimbledon tickets?

How do you get tickets, as on the website it mentions something about a 2009 ballot, does thatb mean everyone has to enter a ballot in order to get tickets?

sorry its just really confusing.

  1. You can order online...possibly at wimbledon.org..

    If you go to London...there should be some hotlines that sell them over the phone...and they sell tickets on the outer booths of the grand stadium


  2. As far as I know, Centre Court, No.1 Court and no.2 Court tickets are being sold by the public ballot.  It kinda sucks cause you might not get tickets :(
