How do you get wireless networking on Win98?

I have a D-Link AirPlus Extreme-G adapter and Netgear router. Please do things step by step cause computers aren't really my thing.

  1. You are probably wasting your time with Win98.


  2. You need to ensure that that adapter is Windows 98 compatible, only if there is a driver for 98 will it work. Follow manufacturer instructions!

    You need to upgrade the OS. You are literally in the networking dark ages.

    Seriously thats like posting on a car forum about how your 1944 car doesn't start anymore and you want someone to help you troubleshoot it.
