  1. Don't use bleach, use light yellow dye, the results will be great

  2. *OxyClean can whiten fabric and does not damage most finishes on white fabric.

    * Pre-soak the yellowed garment in a mixture of all-fabric bleach (it is not as strong as regular bleach and doesn’t cause yellowing), a laundry brightener such as OxiClean, and baking soda.

    * Wash out the stains in about two gallons of cold water mixed with 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of liquid detergent.

    * Washing the stained clothing in a mixture of half a cup of powdered dishwasher soap with half a cup of all-fabric bleach may sometimes remove the stain.

    * Apply a paste of baking soda and water to the stains and let sit for about 20 minutes. Wash as usual.

  3. My mom always puts bleach in a bottle and spray the stain and let it stays there until time to wash it out .

  4. This is what I do for stains;

    It takes out most every stain, in an hour to three days.

    dissolve 1/2 cup oxiclean powder in some hot water, in a bucket or large bowl. Add enough water so the item can soak.  Add cold water after the oxiclean is dissolved when the item should not be in hot water. Let soak till the stain is gone.

    Each day Refresh the oxiclean and water. By draining the water and making a new mixture.

    I got hair dye and yellowing from age as well as under arm stains out, just to name a couple tough stains that can be gotten out!
