How do you get you're hair to stop poofing out?

After I take a shower my hair always poofs out. I already used volume control shampoo and conditioner. I don't want to buy anything else. So, is their anything I can do?

usuually right when its wet i sometimes or sometimes dont, but brush it while its still wet right when i get out. bu i donnot touch it when its dry cuz that will make it poof out and look terrible
