How do you get your computer to quit telling you that your computer is unprotected?

I guess I got some virus on my computer, so I went to trend micro and removed them. But now the computer keeps telling me I have viruses about every 15 minites. It says for me to purchase winspywareprotect for a fee. I think it is just a gimmick. Do you?

nobody heard of winspywareprotect???its a scam--please update your actual antivirus program and also use Spybot S&D, Malewarebytes Anti-malware, Superantispyware,and CCleaner to clean up the mess.These are tested reliable virus free programs which you should download from www.download.com or www.filehippo.com

trojans download other software when opend for example that virus protection get something like free version of zone alarm or another trojan remover unlup eaithernet connection or shut down wireless to prevent furthor downloads and remove it as best as you can

It's spyware. You need to use an anti-spyware program to remove it. Try something like Spybot, Ad-Aware or even Microsoft's own Windows Defender program.
