How do you get your hamster to come when you call it and how long would it take to learn its name.?

my hamster is in a race in 2 weeks so I need to teach it its name

Sorry to tell you this but your hamster will never know its name!! The most you can hope for is that it responds to your voice and runs to you in the hope you will give it a treat. Animals can learn that certain actions will result in a treat but not sure if your hamster will be able to master that in two weeks. Will be thinking of you!!! Good luck!!!
