How do you get your son to contact family?

I have a son who is married,working or doing his own thing.I haven't talked to him since Mothers day.How terrible is that?I try to contact him in every way possible.E-mailing him,leaveing messages on his answering machine and even going to his house.He works the graveyard shift so he sleeps during the day and doesn't hear you when you bang on the door.His wife is always working,and if she is home,doesn't check messages.I'm so mad i just want to kill him.Can you give me any good advice why this kid don't get it?He hurts me and his brother so bad and when i DO finally get ahold of him which is once in a life time,and tell him how we all feel,it's like,ya i promise i'll call ya and come see ya but it never happens.What is exactly wrong with this picture?

It seems like your relationship with your son is not a very good one.

Have you done something to him? B/c it sounds like he is ignoring you on purpose.... just leave him alone.

Well stop pestering him to see you! You sound like one of those overbearing moms. Relax and let him take the time to see you. You know he has his own life with his wife.
