How do you get your website ranked by google.?

Question

I've got the ranking on my toolbar. And it works on some websites.

But when I go to my site it stays blank (0-10 ranking). So how do I get at least a 1 and then how do I get it to climb in importance?

submit to search engines and get as many as possible of your friends to link back to your website

It is by how many times your website is searched for on the Google site.

I have the Google page rank in my toolbar too, but there are many pages that it ranks zero. I guess if you want your page to ranked highly, then you better post important things on it like adds on. However there are pages that it doesnt rank so it appears to be zero.

The only way to increase your PR is build a dofollow backlink. Basically you can build the backlink through

1. Dofollow forum signature

2. Commenting in dofollow blog

3. Link exchange
