How do you give a kitten a bath?

Kitties can get a little dirty because unlike adult cats they don't clean themselves daily. I would not submerge the kitty in water just wipe the dirty areas with a damp cloth.

most cats dont like baths.. but all you do is get cat shampoo... put on a big tee shirt and old shorts and get in to the bath tub with hen dont fill up the tub pull the shower head down and use that you also can ru water not from the shower head from the bath part and pull the drain thing so the water does not fill then wet a wash clouth and wet them with that. that is what i do and my cats dont like bathes but they dont really mind

Does your cat like water. If your cat does then take he or she to the bathtub.

If your cat doesn't like water then wear something that could protect you from scratches and take a wet towel and rub your cat with it.

I would do that.

Cats don't like water naturally so the best idea is to get a damp towel and rub him/her with it and then get a dry towel to dry him/her with it. You might not need to bath it though because cats wash themselves and that is why they have a rough tongue.

it would be best if you get a small container with warm water and a soft bath cloth with a shampoo approved for baby pets. dip the bath cloth int he warm water and add the shampoo. hold the kitten and wiped him down with the cloth. rinse the cloth and wipe the kitten again to get the soap off. This will get him used to the water. Then gradually introduce him to a tub of water by bathing him in a tub with warm water that only covers his toes. you can gradually increase the amount of water, but usually cats keep themselves pretty clean and you don't have to fill up the entire bath tub. The earlier you introduce kitty to water the better. He probably won't like it, but keep up the habit because he will learn to expect it.

Well, in general, you should never give cats baths unless there is a very good reason. Most cats hate water, and giving baths will strip their skin and fur of oils that naturally protect them. Besides, cats are able to clean themselves.

If a cat has gotten into something, you should first try the wipes sold in the pet stores. If you really need to give a bath, wet the cat (except the head) with warm water, use a mild soap like Ivory, rinse and dry well.

the last time i gave a kitten a bath, i went in their with them and shut the door so they couldnt leave

just make it quick so they dont have to suffer

but you really shouldnt give cats a bath anyway
