  1. I don't think they're transferable because if they were, people could just make 10 new accounts and add those points to their original yahoo answers account.

  2. You ask a question and when someone gives you an answer that you like you go to your profile ..(avatar)...click on it and scroll down to the tab that says questions and you click on the question you asked and pick the blue choice button under the one you think is best ..You have to wait at least 4 hrs to do it though..Not sure why...

Some good advice : I see you are new here to this site..WELCOME..

There are lots of things to learn about the rules and points and every time you ask one ..they take 5 points from the original 100 they gave just for coming to Yahoo, question and answers....To save you those points from asking basic questions...GO to the upper right hand corner on this page to the little "help" and click it and it will give lots of info...This will explain lots to you..I will be glad to help you out also..I know I knew nothing back in Sept ..Now I am in level 6 out of 7 levels here...GOOD LUCK! Have FUN ! hope to see you around..

  3. You just can't.

  4. you choose them as your best answer.

  5. You do not give points. You select best answer and the person receives points from Yahoo.

To choose a best answer do one of the following. If the question is yours you can select a best answer after 4 hours. You will have 4 days to do it. If it is someone else's question you will have to wait 4 days if the asker does not pick it himself. There will be a "vote as best answer" button. You must vote before the vote closes after 2 more days.

  6. Other than awarding Best Answer to the answer of one of your questions, there is no other way.
