  1. ****AAAAUUUUGH**** You generally do NOT glue on patches *goes into convulsions*

Sorry, I'm a professional seamstress, and all the do-it-yourself glue-jobs I've seen have been...bad (I've also had pants come in "hemmed" with duct tape, holes in clothes repaired with wood glue).  Have a professional put the patches on. They'll sew them on, and will make them look great.

If you can't find a tailor to sew them on properly, then use Tacky Glue if you HAVE to use glue.  I actually use Tacky Glue to help with leather repairs. It stays flexible and does not crack or discolor leather like Crazy Glue does.  It can also come off a bit easier by using a blow-dryer to soften up the glue and GENTLY rub the glue residue off.  JSYK, that trick does NOT work with suede or really soft leathers!!

  2. Allene's No Sew Glue ;)))

  3. crazy glue!

  4. Almost any shoe repair shop can sew the patch on,  glue is

    not the to go. Leathersmith

  5. you could try using stitch-witchery, or iron on hem tape (its the same thing) you just put some between the patch and the jacket, and iron it for a few seconds, and voila!
