How do you glue rhinestones onto fabric?

is there a special fabric glue or do you use a glue gun or what? does it stay permanently?

"Gem-Tac" is made just for this.  

- It is machine washable and dryable

- Permanent, water-based, non-toxic and washable.

- Requires only a small amount to hold; dries clear.

Aleene's brand is called "Jewel-It" and is pretty much the same.  

You should be able to find both pretty easily at any fabric or craft store - usually near the plain t-shirts and fabric paints.

I also like e6000.

superglue, twezers (for the rhinestone placement) and a toothpick (for glue placement) hope this helps :)
