If you live in the US go to the ARBA website

You will need to buy pedigreed stock from an ARBA member.

Also try attending some rabbit shows to learn more about the different breeds.

If you want to become a breeder to make money you might as well forget it. Breeders raise rabbits to better whatever breed they raise. You do not make money off of rabbits. Most people look at it as a hobby and not a business. They do it because they love the rabbits.

if you want to be a breeder you must buy your stock from a breeder - registered animals - whose parents have been to shows..

NEVER from a pet store

now - you also didnt say what county you are in.. so as you could be from anywhere in the world I am not gonna start listing organizations.. BUT when you buy a registered bunny there will be registry info on there for your country - contact them see if their is anything you need to do..

take your bunnies to show to prove they are worth breeding before you begin to breed.. ALL good breeders do this!

also contact your city zoning department to see if their is a special "business license" you need.
