How do you go about recycling periodicals (magazines) you no longer want?

  1. First I try to leave them in my Doctors/Dentist office. Next you can take them to a local library. I have even taken to a nursing home. This way they get a second use.

    Those ideas really recycle.

    Last resort put in with newspaper recycle.


  2. I throw them in the recyling bin along with all the other things I recycle.  Once a week, the men come and collect it.

  3. You should first check your local library or school, as a lot of them are implementing the new Waste Management recycling containers.

    If that doesn't work, your city or one nearby should have a recycling center that will accept all paper products. They will also usually take scrap plastic, metal, and other materials.

    If all else fails, give them to someone or a business that could use them, but don't just throw them away in the trash!
