If you have the talent and tools needed the first step is go to the city hall in the city you want to open your business. Apply for a business license, usually under $75. Next go to a bank of your choice and open a business checking account, they will advise you what needs to be done. And basically that's it! I would however highly recommend a liability insurance policy. Check your local Yellow Pages for insurance agents in your area that write business policies.
