  1. OMG. Not sure if you have seen this yet or not but I am furious. Is this legal? This website has everyone's driver's license photo in the US posted in a huge database. How can they legally do this?

  2. in ohio... when you are 15 1/2 you can get your drivers permit.  you go to the local bmv to get the packet... during the 6 months you have to have it (cant get the license until 16) you have to take a drivers ed course which consists of actual classes you attend and driving with an instructor.  you also have to have so many hours driving with another licensed driver... i think 20? i cant remember.  then you have to go take the tests.  the first is a written exam. if you pass that you take a driving test with a deputy registrar.  you cant really do this in a total junk car because your car will get its own exam before you can go.  finally you will take your permit packet, signed papers after you passed the test, and your permit card and get your official drivers license.  have insureance. you'll need it.  you're 18 or older, you can skip the drivers ed part.

  3. You turn 17, pass drivers education and earn your license..

  4. getting your driver's license

  5. first you need to get a learners permit. each state has their own rules for the age and qualifications. Check your state for what you need for a learners permit. If you don't find the information online on how to apply in your state, then call your State - Department of Motor Vehicles to ask for the requirements and the application, and the driving rules for your state. You will need to go into the State license location so they can see your Id and you will get your photo taken.

You will need a copy of your birth certificate and other forms of ID. With the learners permit, you need to practice driving, making a K-turn, parking parallel, stop at the right location for a stop-sign, study and learn the drivers handbook, so you can pass the written drivers test and the driving test. You will need to pay a fee for the learners permit and a fee to get your license.

Each state can do their own process, so you will need to check the specifics for your home state where you want your llicense.
