How do you go over 200 mph at Daytona on Nascar 09?

I have been trying different setups and getting info from other sites but i just cant get going very fast. I would like to actually be able to compete online. My dad was playing once and a guy said he was going 212 mph at daytona and i believe it cause my dad got lapped. Help me please!!!!

  1. IDK about 09 but other Nascar games you have to be in the draft. It's surprising how weak your qualifying run is (when you're all alone) compared to the actual race.

  3. Just turn off all assists and draft perfectly all around the track, and once you hit the backstretch you will go above 200 in a heartbeat. Plus:it also helps to drive cars like Jr. or Jeff Gordon who have an A+ on SuperSpeedways.
