How do you group data with excel?

Hello,

I want to know how to group data in excel.

I have say for example: 2, 6, 5, 13, 7, 10....

and i want to group the data into these groups..

0-4

5-9

10-14

What do you mean by "group data?" You could sort the data so that it is in order.

Or, if you want to know how many of the values fall into each range you could use the SumProduct() function. For example, assume that you have data in A1:A100. To find out how many points fall into the 0 to 4 range you could do this:

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A100>=0)*1, (A1:A100<=4)*1)
