get a seed, plant it, let it grow, if its female it willl make buds.

it's called weed for a reason. it's really easy to grow. get a paper towel, run it under some water and wring it out slightly. take your fattest, striped seeds and wrap them in the paper towel. put the paper towel in a ziplock baggie and put it in a dark place. under a couch, in the closet, whatever. check back in a week and they should be sprouting. place the sprouts in some potting soil. if you plant in  a small container you can leave it there for a few weeks until the plant outgrows it. transfer to the ground or a large (5 gallon or so) bucket.
